PORTFOLIO

Linde Ergo's sculptures speak a universal language. They show us human emotions that are hidden deep within us. Her shapes inspire us and invite us to take pause. She has art enthusiasts guess at the "feeling" that she masks in her creations but that, consciously or subconsciously, encourages the observer to instinctively give "mystery" a place in his world. For Linde, the live model is an inexhaustible source of inspiration and an impetus to create. With complete devotion and improbable finesse, she kneads her clay into frail, fragile or impassioned figures. Her accurate sense of postures and contours plays a part in determining her direct expression. She tells us something about people, and it is this story that appeals to us and permanently fascinates us.
